for themselves and shapes could vary)

children’s names on cards or encourage children to do this for themselves
(large letters)
draw over
letters with white glue or smear on with a Q-tip
glue dyed
macaroni, etc. onto letters of name and let dry
for younger
children, encourage them to decorate the background around their names
(instead of decorating the letters) as their co-ordination
may not be advanced enough to draw glue on the letters of their names
