You will need:
- several ‘colored’
circles of paper (you
could have only one set of ie. red, brown, orange, yellow; or you
may choose to make 3 sets of colored circles)
- a table surface
to display the circles on
Variation:
- as children
get better, encourage them to take turns being the leader (the
leader being the one who guessed correctly)
- try the game
with numbers and shapes instead of colors
What to do:
- tell the children
to carefully observe the circles you are putting on the table
- verbalize
together everything that is there (ie.
get the children to say the colors aloud with you)
- then have
children turn their backs while you remove one of the colored circles
- children must
turn back, look at the table and try to guess which colored circle
is missing
- as the children
get better, start taking away 2 colored circles, then 3 and so on
