You will need:

• one styrofoam cup for each child
• one pipe cleaner for each child
• one piece of tinsel approx. 6: long for each child
• assorted Christmas wrapping paper scraps
• white glue
• children's scissors
• a darning needle or other sharp pointed object (ADULTS ONLY PLEASE)

What to do:

• using the darning needle,pre-poke a hole in the base of each styrofoam cup (ADULTS ONLY PLEASE)
• children poke pipe cleaner through the hole and twist a ball or knot in the end inside the cup to prevent the pipe cleaner from pulling through
• bend the remaining end into either a loop or a 'c' shape
• decorate exterior of cup using assorted wrapping paper bits and tinsel
• hang on tree (KEEP AWAY FROM LIGHTS!)
• label work
• clean up
