You will need:
- colored construction
paper for each child
- assorted
colors and sizes of tissue paper
- glue sticks
- pencil to
label
What to do:
- encourage
children to fold their papers in half and draw a design on the fold
- then using children's
craft scissors, children cut out their design being careful to only cut
out along the folded edge
- when design is
cut out, open paper out flat
- using the glue
stick, draw around the edges of the design cut and proceed to lay pieces
of tissue paper over the glue
- children will
tend to overlap tissue paper but this is great!
- when the children
have covered all the glue spots, they turn their picture over, label work
and clean up
- when displayed
in a window, this gives the image of stained glass windows!
