You will need:
- a sturdy
paper plate for each child
- 3 or 4 small
pine cones for each child
- lots of green
and white tissue paper cut into 2" x 2" squares
- a white circle
approx. 4" in diameter for each child
- one red construction
paper triangle for each child
- 7 - 10 cotton
balls for each child
- white glue
- crayons
- one fancy
bow for each child (optional)
- one piece
of yarn for each child (approx. 6" long)
- two pieces
of masking tape for each child
What to do:
- children
make a Santa face on the inside circle to their paper plates using
the precut circles for his head, the red triangle for his hat, crayons
for features, and puff balls for his hat, moustache, beard and eyebrows
- then they
decorate the outer edge of the plat with scrunched up green and white
tissue papers and pine cones to form an attractive boarder (add
a red bow for effect)
- turn plates
over and stick the yarn on the back using masking tape to be able
to hang wreath up later
- label work
- clean up
