You
will need:
- a background
piece of paper for each child
- two circles
of paper per child
(one for the head and one for the body of the cat)
- assorted yarn
- children's
scissors
- white or mucilage
glue
- crayons
What to do:
- pre-cut the
two circles making one slightly larger than the other (older children
may enjoy doing this for themselves)
- explain to
children that the two circles represent the head and the body of a
cat
- let children
glue the two circles onto their pages as they like
- they may like
to use a piece of yarn for the cat's tail
- encourage
children to draw on facial features, ears, whiskers, legs, and any
other additions they may like to make to their work
- label work
- clean up
