You will need:
- one paper
plate per child
- a length of yarn
for each child
- black wax crayons
- red paint Recipe

What to do:
- encourage
children to draw a black head with crayon and to draw a black line down
the back of their ladybug to show where its wings are
- encourage children
to color black dots on their ladybugs wings
- attach a length
of yarn with a knot tied in the end (so it won't pull through)
to the top of the ladybug with a stapler
- paint ladybug
with red paint (black wax crayon will resist paint)
- label work
- hang ladybugs
around room to dry (or dry flat and hang later)
- clean up
