You will need:
- lots of
gently washed and dried egg shells saved up
- a plastic bread
bag
- a rolling pin
- assorted small
pots of tempera powder paint mixed to create bright colors
- a small heart
(about 4" from top to bottom) cut from light weight cardboard
(ie. old file folder)
- white glue
- craft scissors
- pencil
- yarn
- masking tape
What to do:
- crush egg shells
in a bag with a rolling pin
- dye in assorted
colors of tempera paint and water
- scoop out and
let dry on newspaper
- draw a heart motif
on heavy paper or light cardboard and cut out
- using white glue,
glue on egg shells
- let dry
- create a hangar
on back with yarn and tape
- label
- clean up
