You will need:

• one paper lunch bag for each child (white is nicer than brown)
• white glue
• assorted heart shapes pre-cut out
• doilies, lace, ribbon, etc. for decorating
• children's craft scissors
• crayons

• tell children that they are going to make a special Valentine Bag to take all their Valentine cards home in
• pass out the lunch bags and encourage children to print their names on the bags or help them to do it
• place assorted decorating items on trays in the middle of the craft table
• encourage children to decorate their bags using various items
• assign a special place to keep the bags until ready for use
• clean up
