What to do:
using assorted sized flags and maple leaves, children print a design of their choice.
How to do it:
place paint in deep dish aluminum foil pans
use assorted treasures or cut shapes to dip in paint
gently press on paper
if using sponge to create shapes, use foam at least 2" thick - attach clothes pins to keep fingers relatively clean
Variation:
pre-cut out shapes from thick cardboard, potatoes or styrofoam and dip and print
glue cardboard shapes to old thread spools for easier manipulation for younger children
