Tail Tag
You will need:
- a large
plaspace (preferrably out of doors)
- a leg of old panty
hose for each child (cut legs from tops)
What to do:
- pass out
panty hose legs one to each child
- encourage children
to tuck their leg of hose into the back of their waistband on their pants
or shorts (or into their belt) for their tail
- if some children
are wearing clothing that does not permit this, tie another leg of hose
around their waist like a belt and then they can slip their tail into
it
- the idea of the
game is to run around and try and pull someone else's tail off
- tails are then
returned to their owners and play resumes
- how many tails
can you pull off?
- make sure tails
are returned so as to avoid fights
- N.B. this game
can be particularly stressful for younger children as they do not like
to lose their tails
- be ready to sort
out little spats and to encourage fair play and good sportsmanship
