You will need:
- 2
regular sized marshmallows for each child
- 3
toothpicks for each child
- 3
cloves for each child
- 3
chocolate chips for each child
- white
glue
- pipe
cleaner or twist tie for each child
- 1
hat for each child cut from black construction paper
- a
red-thin-tipped marker pen
- tin
foil
- cotton
balls
- 1
rectangular shaped piece of chip box or cereal box approx. 2" x 3"
for each child
- children's
craft scissors
What to do:
- stick cloves
on front of one marshmallow for eyes and nose
- draw on mouth
using marker or food coloring
- snip top of head
with scissors and wedge hat into cut
- glue chocolate
chips onto front face of tummy marshmallow
- cover cardboard
piece with tin foil
- put a big blob
of glue on centre of tin foil covered square
- attach tummy marshmallow
and let dry for a few minutes
- place toothpick
vertically into centre of head marshmallow
- bend pipe cleaner
or twist tie into a loop and twist around toothpick for a scarf
- poke other end
of toothpick down into tummy marshmallow to join together (scarf will
be sandwiched between the two marshmallows)
- poke in toothpick
arms and glue cotton balls around base for a 'snowy' look
- label work
- clean up
